Movement is central to well-being. Guests at The Hay-Adams can explore numerous ways to keep energy flowing with intentional movement:

  • Discover our fitness room, open from 5 am to 10 pm daily

  •         Request the delivery of a Technogym Bench to your room, if you prefer to work out with privacy

  •        Request the use of a yoga mat, blocks, bands, a foam roller, and pose cards to practice in your room

  •          Our concierge can assist you with finding passes and classes to local gyms and Pilates studios, as well as a private trainer to work with you in our fitness room or your guest room

  •          Visit Rock Creek Park, the natural haven twice as large as New York City’s Central Park, and discover hiking, running, trail running, and biking trails.

  •          Lace up your favorite jogging or walking shoes and power along picturesque two-mile pathways through history, from the U.S. Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial.

Outside the hotel, the Washington, DC area is filled with tranquil spots. Just a few examples include Rock Creek Park’s trees, meadows, and quiet spots; the U.S. National Arboretum’s National Bonsai and Penjing Museum; and the Library of Congress’s Reading Room.
