WASHINGTON, DC – July 29, 2026 – This August, the Hay-Adams is offering a refined rooftop escape with its debut of “Where Evenings Be-Gin,” a limited-time cocktail pop-up experience where fresh and floral-inspired gin cocktails meet the hotel’s sought-after Top of the Hay views of Washington, D.C.’s most iconic landmarks.

“Where Evenings Be-Gin is a golden-hour ritual that celebrates the art of the gin and tonic through a menu of imaginative, botanically driven cocktails, set against sweeping views of the White House, the Washington Monument, and the National Mall, said Alex Roig, Director of Food & Beverage at The Hay-Adams. “The menu and ambience thoughtfully invite guests to linger, sip, and savor the nuance of gin—from floral and fruit-forward to herbaceous and refreshing—complemented by premium tonics and elegant garnishes.”

Where Evenings Be-Gin will offer a selection of cocktails—including one alcohol-free version—all designed to evoke the sense of relaxation in a timeless English garden.

  • The Botanical, with The Botanist gin, Chambord, elderflower tonic, lemon, raspberry
  • The Gardener’s G&T, with McClintock Gardener’s Gin, Mediterranean tonic, dried lavender
